My father’s house was built in 1959 and he has lived in it since 1966. The last time the house was updated was in 1976! There was dark wood paneling in every room. It was time for a change.
I had Scooter and his team remodel my home in 2020. My father liked the results and decided to hire him. The entire house was taken down to the studs and rebuilt. Scooter and his team were wonderful.
Every room was touched. New flooring, lighting, insulation, drywall and paint. There were challenges along the way due to 1959 plumbing and electrical, along with termites. Each time issues were handled quickly, efficiently and economically. Great communication with the trades and with me and my father. We were looking for someone to remodel our primary bathroom and I met Scooter Day at the Allen Home and Garden Show. Our initial meeting with Scooter went well, but we felt we needed to get more estimates for comparison and validation. Scooters suggestions and guidance in the design and selection phase were great. His management style and follow-up were outstanding. The team he assembled for electrical, plumbing, painting and tiling were terrific. Cesar the tile guy is meticulous and wonderful. the bathroom turned out great. It was all done almost too fast, I and enjoyed having Scooter drop by to check on things and my dogs loved him, so not long after, I hired him again to install shiplap and paint a secondary bedroom.
